Soil Pollution Control Measures. The natural resources, soil, is the thin layer of organic and inorganic materials that covers the rock surface of the Earth. Soil formation involves a large number of factors and is a process of time. Alteration of rocks due to changes in temperature, wind, water in mechanical movement, lichens are some of the contributing factors.

Pollutants and toxic compounds, radioactive materials, salts, chemicals, when ajouté added ground, worsen the quality content, texture and soil minerals. This leads to the pollution of the soil. Soil pollutants disrupt the biological balance of the organisms in the soil. The negative effect of this contamination is the soil fertility reduced affecting plant and animal growth.

Main causes of the pollution of the soil are:

Use random fertilizersRandom use of pesticides, insecticides and large quantities of solid erosionAddition wasteDeforestation herbicidesDisposal and industrial contaminantsDumping soil of radioactive waste

Control of pollution of the soil

Here are the various suggested steps to control the pollution of the soil:

Reduction using chemical fertilizers and pesticides:

As the soil, erosion has become of the major causes of concern, we need to adopt the three r/s: reduce, reuse and Recycle to minimize use of fertilizers and pesticides.

Biofertilizers are the best solutions for chemical fertilizers. These are microorganisms that are used to increase the capacity for growth and soil fertility. This process of Biofertilization has also reduced the need for pesticides and fungicides.

Practical rotation crops - leguminous plants can fix atmospheric nitrogen and therefore improve the fertility of the soil. These plants can be grown between cultures which absorb much of nutrients from the soil.

Recycling materials

Recycling and reuse of materials such as glass, plastic bags, paper cloth etc. to national rather than Dispose, levels to reduce solid waste pollution. Use of plastic bags has increased considerably. Jute bags or paper bags can be a good alternative for them. Toys made of clay can be a good source of fun for children. A complete ban on the use of plastics is recommended.

Reforestation

Wildfires, soil erosion and floods can be controlled by reforestation. Huge forests have become prey to the greed of man. Take years together to reform a forest. Each person on earth should decide to plant trees to save our planet Earth.

Waste treatment

Processing organic waste by anaerobic microorganisms, such as methanogens and acetogens is recommended because it allows you to break down the soil in a form less toxic and biodegradable waste. Radioactive and industrial waste should be treated properly before leaving their soil.

It is time, the man realizes the importance of rich topsoil and takes the necessary measures to protect the pollutant. The soil is an asset, and there is no substitute for this. Vast tracts of desserts created by human beings are laugh at us. When we can not create tanks and tanks for soil fertile natural should not stop destroying?
